Suffolk Show Platinum Jubilee Pageant Parade By Lee on 3 June 2022 (updated 11 April 2023) In Beavers, Cubs, Scouts / 0 comments 1st Martlesham Beavers, Cubs and Scouts took part in the Suffolk Show Platinum Jubilee pageant parade. The Lord, Lieutenant of Suffolk, Lady Clare, and Countess of Euston, represent the Queen to celebrate the achievements of the youth organisations and thank all volunteers who give up their time to provide the young people with these amazing opportunities. All those who attended the parade received their commemorative coin. The young people and adults also got the chance to enjoy the Suffolk Show. All the leaders are incredibly proud of the young people who kept their focus whilst we waited almost two hours before the parade started. As with all great British events, the rain held off until the parade’s start, and so did the thunder, but these young people still held it together, centre stage with all eyes watching.
